Prayer and secular music help the Abayudaya to understand themselves and the global Jewish community as united through history and Jewish practice.

 

The Abayudaya recieved a 2005 Grammy nomination for Luganda-Hebrew fusions, and the community's youth continue to produce music, often referring to their community's history.
