Needle felting is the process of (lovingly) stabbing loose wool until the individual fibers stiffen into a shape. When local and global horrors have rendered me feeling helpless—when ICE terrorizes neighbors, when my tax dollars fund genocide, when generative AI leaches from human creativity and the environment—the cathartic in and out of the barbed needle has helped me regain my fight.
